a workshop for gay and sexually diverse men
for men who desire a different kind of connection
The ‘Exploring Intimate Touch’ workshop is an opportunity to gather together and take a step into a deeper understanding of our erotic, playful and sensual body. Exploring ‘Betty Martin’s Wheel of Consent’ we will learn how the hidden dynamics of touch, when unlocked and brought into consciousness can bring powerful insights. Connecting us to our deeper qualities of gratitude, surrender, integrity and being of service to another.
When left hidden away, touch can become unconscious, disembodied and even harmful.
During this two-day workshop we will take time to immerse ourselves into the four dynamics of touch; Giving, Receiving, Taking and Allowing.
Together we’ll create a safe and boundaried space to work on each other’s bodies and become more skilled at the rich and juicy qualities held within each of these dynamics. We’ll gain a greater understanding of how consent, or the lack of consent always changes our experience of touch.
During this weekend you will begin to:
- Learn how to recognise your boundaries and work within consent.
- Have a deeper understanding of the dynamics of different types of touch.
- Learn how to use breath, movement and sound to spread erotic sensation throughout the body and increase your capacity for pleasure.
- Gain new techniques for soft and erect genital touch.
- Build a healthier relationship towards our self and our bodies.
- Develop intimate and caring relationships with other men.
- After participating in this workshop you will have a fresh, new, way of bringing touch into your world.
This workshop will primarily be unclothed. There will be full body touch and we will work in a large group, in pairs and individually. It is important that you are able to sit on the floor comfortably for extended periods of time with both hands free for touch sessions.
